Yesterday the boys and girls of St. Jarlath’s took a break from their normal Literacy and Numeracy tasks to focus on understanding and raising awareness about diabetes. World diabetes day is celebrated on the 14th November each year. As we have a pupil diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, we thought it only fitting to celebrate together as a school. Well done and a big thank you each class for taking the time to learn about diabetes.
