On Wednesday, Dave Wiggans from Sustrans came to St. Jarlath’s to present the school with the Silver Sustrans Award. This award recognises the continued effort made by the children in St. Jarlath’s to travel to school in an active way. Dave also introduced our Active Travel Superhero event which starts on 19th February. Pupils are encourage to travel to school in an active way for two weeks.
Bike Doctor
Dave inspected number of key stage two bikes, writing prescriptions for repairs needed to ensure that the bikes are road worthy.
