The wonderful P7 class of 2023 said goodbye in their Leavers’ Assembly as parents and family members gathered for a lovely send off. We thank all involved for a lovely afternoon and wish P7 well in their future endeavours, we look forward to following the next chapter in their lives.
Their journey is best expressed through the most beautiful poem, written by one of the P7 parents:
LEAVERS’ POEM - FOREVER FRIENDS
I first met my wing-man, back in 2011
He was a gift to me, sent from Heaven
What he brought to my life, I’ll always be glad
he brightens my day, when life makes it sad
Let me tell you about Ollie and every child here today
they’ve come a long way and together they’ll stay
for no matter what life throws at us, I’ve no doubt in my mind
that St Jarlath’s has taught them, to be grateful, caring and kind
As they leave the green gates that protected them for 7 years
to adventurous world, full of curiosity, excitement and fears
I’d like to express how happy I am
to be part of St Jarlath’s never ending Clann
We’re all a big family, from P1 to the end
i’m proud to call you all, my FORVER FRIEND
