P1's Anti-Bullying work

20th Oct 2021

P1 read the story ‘Ruby’s Worry’ by Tom Percival. They drew their own worries, inspired by the illustrations in the book. We talked about our worries and who we can talk to at home or in school if we have a worry.

The children regularly talk about their feelings and can show how they are feeling by placing their picture on our feelings chart. This also encourages the children to recognise how their friends are feeling.

We also talked about how we can use our ‘kind hands’ to help each other and our ‘kind words’ to compliment each other. The children give each other compliments daily as part of our PATHS programme. 😃
