P1 to P4 Well-Being Programme
Since their return to school after lockdown number 2, pupils in P1,2,3 and 4 have been engaging in Well-being sessions with Mrs Joan Mc Menemy. Mrs Mc Meneny has been teaching the pupils lots of ways to deal with worries and concerns and also the importance of feeling happy and safe. Each week the pupils have been given time and space to talk about and explore their feelings in a fun and happy environment involving art, craft, music and drama.
Tomorrow, Monday 17th May, is the last session with Mrs McMenemy. We wish to thank her for her brilliant and informed work. Joan’s many years as a teaching principal, herself, shone through in her connections with pupils.
As this term continues class teachers and assistants will continue to implement the PATHS programme to further develop our pupils’ skills and the ability to cope with the challenges of life.
Thank you Mrs Mc Menemy😀
