End of year message to P.5
Dear P5 girls and boys, as this is our last day in P.5 I wanted to let you all know how much I have loved spending time with you this year and how proud I am of you all. Your P.5 year has been very unusual and strange. You have had to do things which children have never had to do before and which must have been very difficult for you. You’ve had to stay at home for many weeks without meeting up with family or friends and then, as if that wasn’t hard enough, you’ve had to try to do your school work at home! Well, I can tell you that I think you have all been outstanding. Not only did you do your booklets but you also read and took AR quizzes, did your Sumdog challenges and competitions, worked on Lexia and posted work on Seesaw. Amazing!!
When I came to St Jarlath’s, Mrs Campbell told me what a brilliant class P.5 were, and she was right. I have missed you all over this last term and I was definitely the luckiest teacher in school this year to have been able to teach you, the amazing girls and boys in P.5. Stay safe and have a fabulous summer.
Many many thanks to the P.5 parents, without your cooperation my job would have been impossible.
