On Thursday 17th December the boys and girls of St. Jarlath’s Primary School gathered to sing a selection of carols and songs at our local church in Blackwatertown. The school band participated and a number of readers reminded us of the true meaning of Christmas with readings from the gospel. Afterwards refreshments were served in the school and the “bottle” table was a great success raising money for school funds.
